I must say we had a wonderful time having Jenny, Larry, baby Ashlynn & Nana out for a visit. It was so nice meeting my niece for the first time! Luckily Amie & Jim have a navigator so we were able to switch cars so I could haul everyone around. Everyone arrived Friday January 30th. Travis, Avery and I drove out to the Airport after Travis's Tumbling Class. The whole Airport trip couldn't have gone smoother. Nana's flight and Jenny & Larry arrived basically at the same time, we got everyone in the car including car seats and luggage; no small feet where Jenny is concerned. Saturday, we went to lunch then Dad & Jeaninne came over to see everyone... mostly the new family addition, Ashlynn.

Sunday, February 1st was Superbowl Sunday. The guys watched the kids while Nana, Amie, Jenny and I went shopping and to lunch. We made it back in time for the game which turned out to be a great game to watch. Nana's trip ended Monday, so Amie, Jenny and I went to the Carter's Outlet.

Wednesday we attempted to take the kids in for pictures. We tried to take the babies picture together first, but Ashlynn was being a little fussy so I thought we would get Avery's and Travis's picture while Jenny tried to calm Ashlynn down. Travis, the one we thought we wouldn't have to worry about was completely scared of the "big camera". So after lots of bribing, we only ending up getting little Avery's picture; she of course was all smiles! We then attempted to get the babies picture again... it was not happening so we decided to take a later appointment time and see how they would do. So after being home for a hour or so we came back for round two. Travis this time was hysterical. I had to sit with him outside of the area while Jenny did the babies pics. Luckily Ashlynn was happy this round and we were able to get some cute pictures of the two girls. We ended up taking some pictures at home as well, so this will give you an idea of how cute they looked.

Aunt Jenny & Uncle Larry bought Travis a early Birthday gift... a tricycle! Travis would ride it every time we were @ Target, so Aunt Jenny couldn't resit buying it for him. Thanks You!

Jenny, Larry & Ashlynn had to leave Thursday, Travis had his speech therapist coming over @ 11AM and Avery had her 4 months checkup later that day so Dad and Jeannine ended up taking them to the Airport for me. Avery's checkup went good. Her 4 months stats: 13 pounds 1 ounce (50%), 25 inches long (75%), and HC 41 cm (50%). Well that about sums up the tip! Oh, wait I forgot to mention I got wrangled into watching The Strangers. For those who haven't seen it, it's a scary movie about a couple who get killed. Those who know me, know I don't do scary movies... so some how I got out numbered and had to sleep with the closet light on.
